We went to the Henai Chicken festival to eat some meat and enjoy looking at chickens. Henai Chicken is one of Akita’s famous foods. It is a breed of I think 3 different chickens combined. I would describe the taste as being between turkey and duck because of the greasier side of the meat. It is used to make kiritanpo as well. Yum!
